Made for Walking: Density and Neighborhood Form

Although others might get a different message from the book, I enjoy its pro-planning, anti-bad design viewpoint. I really liked sharing the concepts in this book with others in my community who actively promote change (not that I do, but that I react to their promotion).Much of the book is, of course, geared to providing the tools for new development, but the understanding of what makes existing neighborhoods work is invaluable.
